Great Arts are always about more than breath-taking performances and exquisite exhibitions. They are inspiring and have deep impacts on the lives of both the artists and the audience. Supported by the Urban Renewal Authority Arts and Cultural Partnership Programme in Old Urban Districts: Pilot Scheme, Reading Hong Kong use Arts as a media to let the young people living in the old urban areas, especially the under-privileged group, understand more about our Life, Community, Heritage and Culture.
There are 3 phases of the project:
Phase 1: Learning
(1) Ya Si Poem Interactive Workshop
(2) Photo-taking Workshop
Phase 2: Strengthening + Experiencing
(1) Guided Culture Walk
(2) Special Concert “Images of Hong Kong” in 2014 Hong Kong Arts Festival
(3) Meet-the-Composer of “Images of Hong Kong” session
Phase 3: Sharing -- let the participants express their own ideas and feelings
